Instead of monthly favourites which I can never keep up with anyway, I’ve decided to do a seasonal favourites. We’re almost at the end of summer, which means I’ve definitely had enough of it now. With that said, I’m kicking off this totally original series by sharing my cruelty-free summer favourites.
Eden Perfumes 475
Another one I talked about on Instagram way back in May. Eden Perfumes match high end perfumes but with vegan ingredients and no animal testing. This one smells just like Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino, except it smells better on me instantly. The Tom Ford version has to settle on my skin before it smells beautiful. 30ml lasts for such a long time too because you really don’t need a lot. At £18 a bottle, it’s an all round winner. I seriously recommend Eden Perfumes to anyone who will listen.

Eco by Sonya Winter Skin
I’ve already talked about this in my top three cruelty-free fake tans post, however this is by far my favourite of the three. Still smells like biscuits and stains light sheets, but the colour is so beautiful so I can look past that. This is the only one that’s fool proof, meaning it’s pretty impossible to end up streaky. It also fades evenly; I’m yet to look like a horrible patchy mess with this.

Frank Body Glow Mask
I posted about this on my Instagram in June saying it had been saving my skin. I still stand firmly behind that. You just leave it on for five minutes after cleansing and then wash away. No need for another moisturiser afterwards because this packs so much into your skin. I use this on mornings when I have a little extra time to get ready, or on evenings when I want my makeup to look that little bit more perfect.

Colourpop London Fog
My Ultra Satin Lip in London Fog is tiny as it was a freebie with my last order. I thought the lippie stix were where it’s at – I was so wrong. The Ultra Satin Lips are my new favourite formula from Colourpop. This is so comfortable on the lips and wears like an Ultra Matte Lip without sucking the moisture from your lips. I’ve been wearing this all summer long. This shade is a pink toned red which looks beautiful on both pale and tanned skin.

Finally, thank you to everyone who has been patient with me through finishing up my uni work and being repeatedly ill. Hopefully I can manage more than two posts a month from now on.
That’s all for this summer! What are your cruelty-free summer favourites?
